Hi. I'm Troy.
Being a builder by trade, and through Wood Work at school, I have always had a passion for Wood Work. In 2008 I had rock climbing accident which left me paralysed and once I had recovered a friend introduced me to wood turning - I haven't looked back since. I turn functional and artistic pieces and enjoy playing with texture and colour.
Wood turning in my wheelchair does have its limitations, but I have adapted & progressed over the years and have found different ways to work around certain issues. I like to demonstrate and I feel that some of the things I have adapted for myself, can also help people of different capabilities.
We are only limited by our imaginations and I believe you can do anything you put your mind to it.
None of us are getting younger!
